At heart, I'm a sysadmin. Always have been, always will be.

Nearly 30 years in IT — and it all started with a terminal, a root prompt, and a healthy obsession with making things work.

I grew up on Linux and Unix, back when you compiled your own kernel and prayed the machine would boot. From Novell NetWare and Windows NT in 1998, through Solaris zones, Red Hat clusters, and AWS cloud architecture, the thread has always been the same: understand the system, own the stack, keep it running.

Outside of work I tinker. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, IoT sensors, home automation, small electronics — if it runs Linux or speaks MQTT, I've probably wired it up to something it wasn't designed for.

Today I lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture at Siemens. The sysadmin mindset never left — it just scaled up.
